Julie has been President of A.C.S.N. Incorporated Management Committee since the Annual General Meeting in 2012. Since this time, Julie has worked very hard to strengthen the governance practices of the Organisation.
Julie has worked closely with the Service Manager and Assistant Service Manager on a number of projects. This collaboration has resulted in A.C.S.N. Incorporated being registered as a Tier Three provider under the Community Housing Regulatory Framework in August 2014. In October 2014, A.C.S.N Incorporated was verified as being compliant against the NSW Disability Service Standards.
Julie has also created a Board Calendar to track of the Management Committee’s progress towards the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), member training, policy review and risk management processes.

Peter with his wife Anne, have four children. The eldest, Elizabeth (pictured), has Down syndrome. Peter and Anne have volunteered for St Vincent De Paul for the Moorebank region. As a couple they were often asked to visit those families where there was someone with a disability and offer information on where to seek help. Together, they volunteered, over a period of 10 years, with Faith and Light, a group who assist people with disabilities to socialise and have short breaks/holidays from parents in small group situation. This led to finding out about the work of A.C.S.N. Incorporated in 1986 and becoming involved with ACSN Inc. over the past 27 years, during which time, Elizabeth has been a resident.

In 2005 Peter and his wife Anne, were jointly invested with the Cross pro Ecclesia et Pontifice (Cross for the Church and the Pope), a papal honour for their long years of work as a couple in Marriage Education and Family Planning and their association with those with Disabilities.
Filling a casual Management Committee vacancy in early 2017 and re elected at the 2017 Annual General Meeting, Jan has helped manage the transition to NDIS funding of the organisation. He continues to work closely with the Service Manager and staff to improve and rationalise the organisation’s payroll, banking and accounting systems and to strengthen internal controls.
